Research: Look for reputable tour operators with good reviews from past customers. Check their website or social media pages for photos and descriptions of their tour packages.

  1. Don't pay in total upfront: It's best to pay only a deposit or a partial payment until the day of the tour. This way, you can ensure that the tour operator is legitimate and the tour will take place.

  2. Ask questions: Before booking, ask the tour operator about the specifics of the tour, including the itinerary, the duration of the tour, the number of stops, and what's included in the package. This will help you avoid any surprises or hidden costs.

  3. Check the boat: On the day of the tour, check the boat to ensure it's in good condition and has all the necessary safety equipment.

  4. Keep your belongings safe: Keep them close to you while on tour, and don't leave them unattended. It's best to bring only what you need and leave valuables in your hotel room safe.
