HOW TO GET THERE?
There are two airports near Boracay: Caticlan and Kalibo.
Caticlan is more convenient, but flights can be more expensive and less frequent.
Kalibo is farther, but flights are generally cheaper and more frequent.
From Caticlan, take a tricycle to the jetty port, then a 15-minute boat ride to Boracay island.
Take a 1.5 - 2 hrs shuttle bus or van from Kalibo to the jetty port, then a 15-minute boat ride to Boracay island.
To get to Boracay via international flights, fly to either Manila or Cebu and then take a domestic flight to Caticlan or Kalibo Airport. From there, you would need to take a boat or a van to reach the island of Boracay.
HOW TO GET FROM CATICLAN AIRPORT TO BORACAY
1. To get to Caticlan Port from the Caticlan Airport
Head across the street from the new airport terminal.
Look for a line of motor tricycles (trikes).
Ride a motor tricycle to Caticlan Port.
The fare for the 10-minute trike ride to the port is typically around 150 Philippine pesos.
2. Upon reaching the Terminal Building in Caticlan, go to the counter and present the following:
