How to get to Zurich
By Air:
Zurich International Airport is the largest airport in Switzerland,
You can get a 10 minutes train ride from the Zurich airport to the central train station Hauptbahnhof. Make sure to buy your train tickets at the airport or the ticket machines before boarding the train.
Take note: There is a fine of CHF100 if you forget or have no train ticket when someone checks.
By Road:
If you are traveling by road or driving, this is a great way to see the scenic route and one of the cheapest ways to get to Zurich. If you are coming from Germany, Italy, or France, I recommend you take the FLIX BUS; it's affordable, comfortable, and has WIFI onboard.

The Old Town (Aldstadt) Zurich
Like dozens of other old cities around the world, the Old Town (Altstadt) is the heart of Zurich. Altstadt is located in District 1, covering both sides of the river, but people usually refer to the west bank area as "OldTown."
BAHNHOFSTRASSE
Bahnhofstrasse is famous as one of the most expensive shopping streets in the world. Its lower half (starting from the central station) is filled with the usual high street brands, while most luxury shops are situated on the upper end, close to Bürkliplatz and the lake.

Located in the heart of Zurich, this 4-star hotel is a short walk from Grossmunster and Fraumunster. The modern décor contrasts perfectly with the surrounding historic sites. The rooms are also surprisingly spacious for a hotel in the old town.
Hotel Adler:
Housed in a historic 16th-century building, this hotel is one of the oldest in the city. The old town's exterior and interior reveal its history and unique charm. Each room features a large mural depicting city views.
Hotel Schweizerhof Zurich:
Located opposite Central Station, this hotel is close to all activities. Hopefully, you won't be awake at night. The hotel has soundproofed rooms to keep out noise. You can even sleep on an electronically adjustable bed.
THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN ZURICH FOR 2 DAYS
Day 1
1. Explore the city, walk to the Aldstadt,

Explore the old town and walk along the cobblestone street, and here, you'll see the majestic and impressive buildings and churches that will take you back in time.
2. Go to the iconic Paradeplatz
The Paradeplatz is the heart of theBahnhofstrasseand a major tram hub near Lake Zurich.
Since the major Swiss banks set up their headquarters here, Paradeplatz has made a name for itself as Switzerland's largest currency exchange. From Paradeplatz you can get to Zurich's old town, Lake Zurich Bahnhofstrasse. Here, you can buy the popular Luxemburgerli in Sprungli.
3. Walk up to the historic Lindenhof Hill to see a great view of the city
If you are looking for a spot for great photos and a view of Zürich's historic center, Lindenhofplatz is the place to go. It's worth heading up, with great views of the Limmat river and the city. Beautiful linden trees provide ample shade over the park benches if you need to rest after the climb up.
4. Grussmunster Cathedral
is one of the iconic buildings in Zurich's old town. Interesting on the inside, and you can pay a small fee to climb the tower for some great views of Zurich.
5. Fraumunster Church
After Grussmunster Cathedral, you can cross the bridge to the other side, and you will see a church with stained glass by Chagall and Giacometti. There is an entrance fee of CHF 5. Note: Swiss Travel Pass is not accepted for entry.
6. Go shopping in Bahnhofstrasse
The street is well known for its exclusive, upmarket retail experience. It is the home of Zurich's finest flagship stores. Great for window shopping and taking pictures. Oh, watch out for the trams. :)

Reached by cable car, the restaurant serves a range of standard Swiss dishes, including fondue, grilled cheese, meats, salads, and potato rosti. It also offers great views of Zurich
3). Baraka Zermatt Restaurants
This restaurant is rather off the beaten path, but once inside, it offers a surprisingly authentic rustic chalet atmosphere with a cozy fireplace.

Tourists rarely spot this cozy restaurant in Zurichberg. It is popular with locals for its various cheese dishes and fondue flavored with chili, mushroom, and whole pepper.

Tourists and locals alike love this cheese haven on the edge of a larger, more expansive town than Fribourg, so book in advance.
Day 2
UETLIBERG - THE VANTAGE POINT OF ZURICH
The Uetliberg (also known as the Uetliberg) is part of the Albis Mountains in the Swiss Highlands, reaching 870 m (2,850 ft) above sea level. It is a must do on a fine day.
There's a CHF5 entry to the observation tower to get better 360-degree views. You can see the entire city of Zurich (northeast of the summit) at a glance. Lake Zurich (east) is the border between Zurich and the towns of Stallikon and Uitikon. The summit known as Uto Kulm is located at Stallikon.
How to get to the top - Uto Kulm
1. Take the S-Bahn Zürich service S10 from the ZURICH HB to Uetliberg
2. Then Walk up for 10 minutes to the summit - UTO KULM

Limmat River Cruise
If you want to see Zurich City from a different perspective, take a boat trip on the River Limmat. The cruise will take you on a leisurely tour past the most beautiful sights in the city, especially Zurich’s OldTown, the historical guild houses, Zurich’s Town Hall, the Lindenhof, and the Grossmünster church. Limmat River Cruise takes you from the National Museum up the River Limmat to Lake Zurich and back again.
Duration: 25 minutes cruise and 50 minutes cruise (only available from April to
October)
Or you can take a walk along the Lake of Zurich. Sit on the bench to relax, refresh your mind and enjoy the incredible views around the lake.
Dinner at Kronenhalle
After seeing all the attractions in Zurich, it's time to get dinner and drinks in an elegant ambiance. Guests can gaze at the works by Picasso, Chagall, and Miró while dining in Kronenhalle.
